If we travel to Tarragona along the highway which follows the route of the old Via Augusta, along the way we can see Roman monuments, ancient stones, as well as signs of beautiful imperial Tarraco. The first that we come across is the "Arco de Bará" majestic gateway to a majestic architectural landscape.

 Port Aventura

Port Averntura is the second largest amusement park in Europe.It covers 115 hectares between Vila-Seca and Salou.It has received an average of 3 million visitors a year since it open in 1995.

 Los Castellers("human towers")

This is a popular traditional phenomenon of the city of Valls, and which was performed first in Tarragona and Penedés,and which soon afterwards was introduced and popularised across a large area of Cataluña.

 Las Calçotades

The calçotadas have become in a winter ritual,spread all across Cataluña. Valls is characterised by the festival of "la Calçotada", which is celebrated on the final Sunday of January.
